What’s your product passion?
We’re passionate caring for our small Leaping Goat EVOO grove. Our home grown and bottled, award winning, boutique olive oil does us proud. As we like to say it’s the fresh flavours of the grove in a bottle. Many people ask how we named our business. When sitting in the sunshine one afternoon, planning the name and label with a friend, her dog frightened our baby goats. The goats jumped off our laps, ran around the back of our chook pen and onto the roof, then “lept” off. It inspired us to name our oil “Leaping Goat”. When my friend's 80 year old mother heard the story she insisted on painting the picture of the goats, Coco and Jeddy, leaping over an olive tree.
What does the Mornington Peninsula mean to you?
Our tree change to the Mornington Peninsula with two primary school children, in 2003, was the beginning of our exciting and rewarding new lifestyle, enjoying our work, sea and bush adventures and the evolution of our beautiful olive grove and oil. We wouldn’t live anywhere else!
