The rustic settlement of Merricks is believed to be named after a cattle station owner. The early settlers of Merricks preferred to run livestock rather than grow orchards like many other areas on the Mornington Peninsula. Today, Merricks retains the charm of its history while showcasing some of the best produce from the region.
